Built correctly for Google, local search and AI answers.

Every Settled Sites website is built the way search engines expect: a page for each service and place, structured data on every page, a Google Business Profile that matches the site, fast loading on a phone, and every old page redirected. It is part of the $299 monthly fee, not an extra.

A page for every service and place

Contract review, closings, wills, a DUI: each gets its own page, and so does each town or courthouse you really serve.

Why it matters

Search engines and AI answers match one question to one page. A single "practice areas" page answers none of them well.

Structured data on every page

Your firm, attorneys, services, hours, area served and FAQs described in schema.org markup (LegalService, Attorney, FAQPage, BreadcrumbList).

Why it matters

It tells Google exactly who you are and what you do, instead of leaving it to guess from the words.

Matched to your Google Business Profile

The same firm name, address and phone number on every page and on your profile, with the site linked to the right page.

Why it matters

Google compares them. When they disagree, your local listing loses trust and placement.

Fast on a phone

Plain HTML, sized images and self-hosted fonts. We aim for a Lighthouse performance score of 95 or more on mobile, and measure every page.

Why it matters

Speed is a ranking signal, and visitors leave slow pages: going from one to five seconds raises the chance they leave by 90 percent, according to Think with Google.

Built for the phone first

Readable text, tap-to-call, short forms and nothing hidden behind menus a thumb cannot reach.

Why it matters

Google ranks the mobile version of your site. Most people looking for a lawyer are on a phone.

Every old page redirected

Every address on your old site gets a permanent (301) redirect to its new page at launch.

Why it matters

Links from other sites and your existing Google results keep working, so you keep what you have already earned.

Titles, descriptions and headings done properly

One clear H1 per page, a unique title under 60 characters and a description that says what the page is for.

Why it matters

They are what people see in the results. A good one gets the click.

The plumbing search engines expect

An XML sitemap, a robots file, canonical addresses, clean URLs and no duplicate pages competing with each other.

Why it matters

It lets search engines find, understand and trust every page, without wasting time on the wrong ones.

Accessible markup

Built to WCAG 2.2 AA: real headings, labels, alt text and contrast, tested with a keyboard and a screen reader.

Why it matters

What makes a page usable for a screen reader also makes it easier for search engines and AI to read.

Ready for AI answers

Pages open with a plain answer, FAQs are marked up, guides carry a named author and date, and an llms.txt file describes your firm.

Why it matters

When Google shows an AI summary, people click a regular result about half as often (8 percent against 15), according to Pew Research Center, July 2025. Being the clear, quotable source matters more.

What we will never promise.

A position on Google, a place in an AI answer, or a number of new clients. Nobody controls those. What we control is building the site so nothing stands in your way.

Will my site rank first on Google?

Nobody can honestly promise that, and you should be wary of anyone who does. What we can promise is that the site is built the way search engines and AI answers expect, which is the groundwork every ranking depends on.

Is this the same as an SEO campaign?

No. This is how the site is built, and it is included in the monthly fee. An ongoing campaign (link building, content plans, review programs, ads) is separate work, and we only talk about it if you ask.

How do I know it is done properly?

Your free website review measures most of these on your current site. After launch, the same checks run on every page, and you can see the results.

Does local search depend on the website or the Google profile?

Both. Your Google Business Profile is often what a local client sees first; your site is what confirms you are the right firm. They have to agree with each other, and the site is built so they do.
